Troubled Soul

This young girl was outside of Winners Chapel during its New Year’s Eve service (50,000+ people attended).  I was walking around outside, just observing and absorbing everything in, when I saw her.  She looked directly into my eyes.  I smiled, waved, and slowly raised my camera up. Right after I snapped this, a giant smile coated her face.  She then jumped up and trotted away, still wide-eyed and smiling. 

It’s moments like these that remind me why I do what I do.
